February Even In Japan

In Japan has even which can be narrating. I really interest to knowing about it and tell you. Every month Japanese People celebrate the even. In January Japanese people spend their holiday for Shogatsu or New Year. In February called Ni Gatsu (二月)there are some even celebrated. The calendar might say it is the beginning of spring, but February is still quite cold in Japan. You can find a snow and ice festivals are held in many places. One of most popular ones is the Sapporo Snow Festival.

And the other even is called setsubun. Setsubun is the last day of winter ceremony. On the night of Setsubun Japanese people yell “Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi! Means Out with the Ogre! In with good fortune! Then there is Risshun the first day of spring even. Hari Kuyou its mean Sewing Needle, and the last Kenkoku-Kinenbi. This day is National holiday or National Foundation day. Interesting, Isn’t it.
